Fiat baute den Motor als Typ 118 und ließ Pininfarina die Karosserie zeichnen. Derselbe Motor gewann 1954 mit Stirling Moss die 12 Stunden von Sebring.Vom Coupé mit diesem OSCA-Motor wurden nur wenige Hundert Stück gebaut — deutlich weniger als vom offenen Cabriolet, das selbst schon als seltener Exot der frühen 1960er gilt.
