“Collection by Vermant” is delighted to be able to offer you this magnificent and extremely rare Porsche 991 Speedster. The Speedster was the designed to be the ultimate open top Sports car in their line up being engineered by Porsche Motorsport in Weissach. The designing of the car was done in collaboration with Style Porsche and Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. In short, only the best departments were used to create one of the best and most unique cars to come out of Stuttgart in recent years. The Speedster does not only have unique engineering behind it but also has a unique story since it was released in 2018, the year Porsche turned 70. To further commemorate this milestone in the history of the brand, the Speedster was limited in production to 1948 examples. 1948 was the year the first Porsche 356 received its approval for road use.Porsche Motorsport put a lot of effort into the designing of this car using the best bits from different models to create the ultimate driving machine. The drive train and suspension was taken from the GT3 and the 911R, both famed for their sublime driving feel. While the 4.0 litre engine in the GT3 featured 500hp, this was even further tweaked for the Speedster to an impressive 510hp. This was achieved by fitting high pressure fuel injectors and upgrading the inlet manifold and fitting 6 individual throttle bodies. To bring the power to the wheels, the speedster was only available with a Manual transmission. This does not only increase the pure driving feel of the car but also saves an impressive 17kg in weight compared to the PDK transmission. The weight saving didn’t stop at the gearbox. Various panels like the front wings, the hood and the rear clamshell were crafted out of Carbon fibre. The roof operation is done manually which enabled the removal of a very heavy electronically operated roof mechanism.This Speedster was delivered to its first and only Belgian owner in January 2020. Being a passionate car collector he used the car for what it was made and enjoyed it on numerous road trips to the Alps and weekend outings. This accumulated to a total mileage of 13.000km in the almost 6 years that he owned the car. Despite being occasionally used, this Speedster is still in almost brand new condition both inside and out and it was meticulously cared for. After 6 years of enjoying the car, the owner has entrusted us to find a new caretaker for his beloved Speedster that could hopefully enjoy it as much as he did.When looking at the exterior of this Speedster, we can see the very unique and striking Aetna Blue colour. This was a PTS colour that can only be found on a handful of cars. While most of the Speedsters produced feature the Heritage pack, this example stands out with its more subtle and distinguished configuration. Aetna blue is a darkish Blue solid colour that accentuates the lines of the Speedster very well and gives a nice contrast to the black details on the car. This includes the Speedster Specific wheels, the black trim on the front and rear bumper and also the black stone guard on the sides.Going over to the interior of the car we can find the beautiful Black leather 18 way adjustable seats. These give the driver full adjustability and a very comfortable feel, especially during longer drives. To further add to the comfort and the year round usability of the car, the seats have been optioned with seat heating and to complement this, the steering wheel is also heated. The previous owner spared no expense when configuring the car and selected almost every option imaginable. This not only aids in the usability of the car but also but also adds to the presence.
