It faithfully retains the iconic styling cues of its predecessor, including its low-slung profile, roof-cut doors, large side air intakes, and signature longitudinal racing stripes.This particular example is one of only 101 Ford GTs built to European specifications, a production number chosen in reference to the chassis number of the very first GT40. European-specification cars differ from North American models thanks to several homologation features, including headlamp washers, front side marker lights, redesigned rear bumpers, and engraved door sills reading "ONE OF 101 FORD GT", all of which are present on this vehicle.The car was firmly ordered in August 2003 in Mies, Switzerland, by Jean-Pierre Slavic, an internationally renowned collector best known for his exceptional Ferrari collection. The order was placed more than two years before delivery, at a time when European production of the Ford GT had not yet begun. Ford Motor Company (Switzerland) SA initially scheduled delivery for May or June 2005.Delivered new by Ford Motor Company (Switzerland) SA, this GT was specified in Centennial White with painted GT racing stripes and 18"/19" BBS alloy wheels, wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires. It was prepared by FM Autoservice AG in Hinwil before being shipped to Ford's distribution center in Rothrist. The vehicle was first registered on September 27th, 2005, in the Swiss canton of Vaud.The car is now located at our showroom in France, benefits from French registration, and displays 15,500 miles (approximately 25,000 km).Mechanically, it features an aluminum spaceframe chassis powered by a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 equipped with a Lysholm twin-screw supercharger, producing 557 horsepower and 675 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. According to the Swiss homologation documents, the car has a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph).The interior combines motorsport-inspired engineering with premium materials, featuring black leather upholstery with perforated aluminum inserts, a six-gauge competition-inspired instrument cluster, an aluminum center console and gear lever, and carbon fiber trim.
