Indeed, this GT3 RS is simply new, frozen in time and in the condition in which it left the dealership in March 2007 in Italy. It has since been carefully preserved out of sight in ideal conditions, and also benefits from the launch livery, in Orange with Anthracite interior. To date, the car has only covered 310 km. Its Piwis test carried out before arrival at our premises is of course impeccable, with 0 hours of operation on ranges 1 to 6, the engine counting 18 hours of operation. This car is appreciated in the details, its wheel arches show no signs of use, its underbody is to die for, it is a completely unique piece that will please the most demanding. We also have all period instructions and brochures as well as its original maintenance booklet. The car has just been serviced by Porsche! Please note that this vehicle is subject to VAT on the full amount as it has been driven for no more than 6,000 km and is considered ‘as new’ for VAT purposes. The Porsche 997 GT3 RS MK1 was introduced in 2006 as a radical version of the 997 GT3. Heir to the RS (Rennsport) model lineage, it is designed for track use while remaining road-legal. Taking up the spirit of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 and the previous 996 GT3 RS, it is distinguished by an extreme approach focused on lightness and performance. The exclusivity of the 997 GT3 RS is based on intensive weight reduction and specific distinctive elements. It adopts a wider chassis for better stability and also benefits from lightweight materials, including a carbon bonnet and spoiler, as well as a polycarbonate rear window. Its iconic Orange colour with black stripes or vice versa, as well as its lightweight forged alloy wheels, reinforce its aggressive look. Inside, the atmosphere is resolutely sporty with bucket seats, a partial roll cage and optional harnesses.Under the bonnet, the 997 GT3 RS MK1 is powered by a 3.6-litre naturally aspirated flat-six developing 415 hp at 7,600 rpm and 405 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Thanks to its contained weight of 1,375 kg, it reaches 60 mph in 4.2 seconds for a top speed of 193 mph. The six-speed manual gearbox and the sharp chassis with specific PASM shock absorbers offer formidable driving precision. Its dynamic behavior and its DNA from motorsport make it a reference among sports cars of the time, both on the road and on the track.
