Citroen CX, 1980 г.в.

Selling my 1980 Citroen CX Athena. 2.0 Douvrin engine, 4 speed gearbox and DIRAVI power steering. Has an H-plate and TÜV until 02/2025The car is in very good mechanical condition. Engine starts right up, doesn't seem to use any oil, doesn't smoke and has good power. It has a new exhaust system and a katalysator fitted by a previous owner, don't know why.The engine was recently serviced with new oil and timing belt couple months ago.The hydropneumatic system is very healthy, suspension goes up and down as it should, Diravi self-centering and speed-sensitivity works flawlessly and brakes are good. There are no hydraulic leaks. Rear suspension cylinders and all spheres have been replaced in the recent past by a previous owner. New summer tires were just fitted.The interior is pretty well preserved with some of the door cards beginning to warp and separate from the doors - typical for an S1 CX. Everything works - electric windows, switches, lights, Blaupunkt period radio, fan and heater. Except the fuel level gauge which sometimes does and sometimes doesn't. It has seats from a Prestige LWB, which are in good condition except a couple spots of UV damage (see pictures).The main issue with this car is the paint which hasn't been done well. There are places where it is chipping away, there's overspray on things and bottom of the doors is slightly rusty - it isn't a museum piece. Next TÜV inspection is due in 2025 and there will be some welding needed to pass - 1 spot on the frame close to the front wheel and the rear valance behind the bumper. I've tried taking pictures of everything I've described, if you're interested I can send more pictures + videos on Whatsapp.The CX is located in Munich, kept in an underground garage. A test-drive is naturally possible if the weather outside isn't too bad. I'm open to discuss a final price only in person.Regards
