2020 McLaren 720S GT3X – Chassis 01/15The ultimate expression of McLaren’s motorsport engineering, the 720S GT3X is a car without compromise – built in Woking by McLaren Customer Racing and limited to just 15 examples worldwide.This is Chassis #01, the very first car in the series and the origin of the legend.Beneath its carbon-fibre skin lies a hand-built 4.0L twin-turbo V8, delivering ~720PS and 770Nm, with an additional 30PS push-to-pass system for explosive bursts of speed.Power is channelled through a 6-speed Xtrac sequential gearbox with pneumatic paddle shift and a Salisbury limited-slip differential. At just 1,210 kg dry, it is more than 200 kg lighter than the road-going 720S, with performance liberated from GT3 regulations.Every element has been engineered for the circuit: adjustable suspension, Alcon motorsport brakes, forged 18-inch centre-lock wheels with Pirelli slicks, and a full aerodynamic GT3 package including splitter, diffuser, dive planes, and a towering carbon wing.
