All cars of this edition were presented at the Grand Prix of the USA in 2000 (Indianapolis) and then went to selected Mercedes-Benz dealerships to be sold only at various charity auctions. Each car was sold significantly more expensive than the price of a a regular SL500 at that time. After the car was brought to Europe, according to the standard and experience of the owner, a comprehensive inspection, maintenance, servicing of the car and the replacement of many components with new ones (regardless of the perfect technical condition of the vehicle) were carried out. Everything on branded and original Mercedes parts. The car impresses with its technical and optical condition, it does not need any financial contribution.Below is a list of what was done in the car after it was brought to Europe:1. All locks, bolts, etc. on the roofs were dismantled, regenerated and preserved,8. All belts in the motor and in the pulleys have been replaced,9. All candles new - iridium candles,10. The soft-top roof is new, windows, spoilers + all cables, tensions, glass ribbons, etc. 11. The roof is impregnated several times with professional impregnation,12. All body seals have been preserved,13. The interior was washed, all seats were then dismantled, serviced (including motors, belts, tensioners), everything was preserved, including the leather,14.
