General information about the vehicle:This auction features a 1965 Mercedes-Benz 230 SL. The convertible, with chassis number 11304210013598, was originally delivered in Germany and is currently on its sixth owner. It already has classic car registration (H-plate), and the next vehicle inspection is due in December 2024. Unfortunately, the vehicle's history is incomplete, and only the period from 1989 to 2023 can be documented with the available paperwork. The original registration certificate is included. Since 2009, the SL has been mostly stored in a garage and has only been driven a few hundred kilometers.Exterior Color/Paint/Body:The Pagoda was restored and repainted in 1991. The invoice for 17,500 DM is available. As you can see from the numerous photos, the gray paint is in good condition. The characteristic hardtop in the same color as the car is also included in the auction. The soft top is showing its age and should be replaced soon, depending on your expectations for the vehicle.Exterior Wheels/Brakes/Suspension:According to the seller, the tires on the well-preserved 14-inch Baroque wheels should be replaced. The brakes are considered to be in very good condition.
