For sale is an Opel GT 1900 in the extremely rare Conrero trim. It features original Italian license plates, a road-going version with dual Weber 40 carburetors, a Conrero-branded oversized manifold (the only genuine part that can confirm the authenticity of the trim), a Conrero steering wheel and horn, a rear body badge, the bumpers have been removed and replaced with spring-loaded rubber bumpers at the front, and rear hole plugs. The trim also includes an electric fuel pump, pressure regulator, a larger cooling system (dual fan) with an activation sensor on the radiator hose, MAS alloy wheels for Opel, and a full stainless steel direct exhaust.The car was registered in 1970, and the paint was refreshed in the 1990s and has been preserved ever since. It has some age-related signs and some darker shading in some areas, but overall it is well-maintained and rust-free, including a sound underbody. The chrome parts are beautiful and free of rust or other signs of deterioration.The seals are sound and perform their function admirably.The interior is preserved and in excellent condition; the rear interior (spare tire compartment behind the seats) has been restored.The fuel tank has been disassembled and treated internally, the float has been replaced, and the entire fuel line, up to the carburetors, has been replaced.The braking system is in good condition, as are the transmission, gearbox, and clutch.The engine runs well, crisp and with a roaring sound; the carburetors have been disassembled, cleaned, and all seals and worn parts have been replaced.The electrical system is fully functional, as is the heating system.The valve cover gasket has been replaced, and the car has been adjusted and tuned.New tires are Dunlop Sport Classic tires with a period design.Last service performed in August 2025 (oil, oil filter, fuel filter).The odometer read 21,477, but its accuracy cannot be verified.The car is complete with all documentation and the relevant document holder, two keys, period brochure, body color swatch, and service booklet.The car is ASI registered and issued a CRS for authenticity and accuracy of the model details.The car can be tested and viewed by appointment (located in Carpi, Modena).This extremely rare car in the proposed Conrero trim level is perhaps the only one in Italy.
