Due to the realization of another childhood dream, I am selling my Chevrolet Corvette C4 35th Anniversary after caring for and cherishing it for over 15 years. Completely original, in concours condition and with a unique, long Dutch history. From a Dutch private collection, complete history known. Multiple show winner. Bought with 45,000 miles, current reading: 56,000 miles (Dutch carfax present). Maintained by Corvette specialist Van Diepenbeek in The Netherlands. The limited (no. 1988/2050 produced!) and never delivered in Europe 35th Anniversary Edition is according to experts perhaps the best looking and most special C4 from the 'eighties'. The Miami Vice look among Corvettes! With its 'triple white' color scheme, gloss black targa bow and translucent acrylic targa roof a stretched, extremely stylish and above all unique appearance.Coincidentally, this particular example was delivered new near Miami on June 30, 1988 by Chevrolet dealer Ed Morse in Fort Lauderdale. The Dutch collector above bought the C4 there at the time during a business trip in the USA, was shipped by order by his Mercedes dealer Van Dijk Rotterdam and registered in the Netherlands on January 18, 1991. This owner, who owned the C4 no less than until 2009, cherished his collector's item in his basement with his Mercedes collection and only drove it with his wife on sporadic summer trips to Scheveningen, The Netherlands. Both the dealer plaque of Ed Morse and the alarm stickers of Mercedes dealer van Dijk are still present on the car as historical marks. I also acquired from him black and rare original NOS end mufflers that he had as a spare with the car, which were mounted together with a new stainless steel y-pipe.This special and festive version in honor of Corvette's 35th anniversary since 1953 is equipped with really every conceivable option in addition to the already extensive standard equipment with its option code 'Z01 Package':AC3+AQ9: 6-way electric leather sport seats with electrically adjustable side bolsters and inflatable lumbar supportsC68: electronic air conditioning24S: removable transparent blue-tinted targa topUU8: Delco Bose audio systemD74: self-dimming interior mirrorZ6A: rear window heating in combination with heated exterior mirrors+Z52: Z52 Sport Handling Package consisting of:- FG3 Delco Bilstein sport shock absorbers.- V01 heavy duty radiator- 4P radiator boost fan- KC4 engine oil cooler- More direct steering with 13:1 gear ratio- 17" alloy wheels directional l/r with 275/40 tires all around (for information: in 1988 the Corvette C4 equipped with this Sport Handling Package was the first production car in the world with 17" wheels from the factory, very innovative at the time! For comparison: the Ferrari Testarossa measured 16" and the Lamborghini Countach 15")Driving this special C4 is a real pleasure and special experience. With a panoramic view over the Anniversary white 'clamshell hood', looking at the white nappa leather steering wheel (also in new condition, just like the entire interior) with the extensive digital dash behind it and Jan Hammer echoing through the Bose speakers, you feel like you're in an episode of Miami Vice. While enjoying its European driving characteristics, 'open' driving sensation, ultimate luxury and driving comfort. At most, the palm trees along Dutch roads are missing...Its reliable and rock-solid L98 5.7 V8 Tuned Port Injection engine with aluminum cylinder heads is known for its high torque and beautiful, silky smooth running. In combination with the 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and relatively low weight thanks to the all-fiberglass body, double aluminum wishbones and fiberglass mono-leaf springs, it is also remarkably fuel-efficient. With a normal driving style, 1:12 fuel consumption is among the possibilities. To make driving more enjoyable, an extremely rare and expensive Delco Bose EQ radio/CD unit with built-in aux-in connection from the GMC Typfoon (yes, that famous and, at the time, fastest SUV in the world) is mounted, in exactly the same style/layout as the original Delco Bose radio/cassette which, of course, is present. In addition, as an accessory, the original mirror 'wind deflectors' of the C4 convertible are mounted in matching gloss black, minimizing turbulence during open driving.A unique opportunity to acquire this rare and important car from the rich history of Corvette. The in 1984 introduced and for its time hypermodern C4 stood at the basis of the later C5, C6 and C7, just like the Porsche 964 and his following models. In this superb condition and limited version a true 'survivor' and time capsule. My wish is that this Ivory white, historic beauty gets a good conservator, as I too have been. Serious inquiries only. With special Corvette regards,DennisNote: please note, advertised odometer reading of 56.000 is in miles, not km's!For further information, see the link below:CHEVROLET CORVETTE C4 5.7 V8 Coupé TPi Z01 35th Anniversary Edition nr. 1988/2050 | Autobedrijf John van der Rijt Uden:https://www.rijtautos.nl/occasions/chevrolet/corvette/chevrolet-corvette-c4-5-7-v8-coup-tpi-z01-35th-anniversary-edition-nr-19882050/3097765/
