The result was the F40, a car that instantly captured the hearts of car enthusiasts all over the world. It was Enzo Ferrari’s final masterpiece, a car he personally approved. With its 2.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 478 horsepower, the F40 delivered truly spectacular performance for its time. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h took just 4.1 seconds, and with a top speed of 324 km/h, it was the world’s fastest production car back then.The F40 was designed with one goal in mind: to be as fast as possible. That’s why you won’t find any luxuries such as air conditioning, power windows, or even a radio. Its carbon fiber and Kevlar body kept the weight down to just 1,100 kg! The iconic design, featuring the signature red color and large rear wing, makes the car instantly recognizable. Between 1987 and 1992, only 1,311 examples were produced, making the F40 a true rarity.
