Ford F 1 All American Pick-up, 1948 г.в.

This 78 year old Ford F1 is one of the very first ever build. Launched by Ford in the fall of 1947, this Ford F1 was build in Februari of 1948. It spend almost it's entire life in the dry climate of California. The original 1948 California license plates (actually they are from 1947 but amended by the authorities to show 1948) are available. This car was imported in to the Netherlands early 2020 and, when not in use, parked in a heated garage. It only came on the road in dry weather.When in the Netherlands, the underbody was treated with wax-oil and the original oak wooden cargo bed was replaced with teak-wood. Also brand new tires were installed (including for the spare). The car was completely serviced upon its arrival, the carburator was overhauled in 2024 and a new battery was installed in 2025. It is a very reliable vehicle and, even when not used for a while during the winter, will start without any problems. In the Netherlands, this car is free of road-tax and does not require the regular MOT (APK). It seats 3 upfront and does not require seat-belts.Ofcourse the car has been modified during its long life. It is fitted with a 4 speed non-synchronised gearbox and a 12volt system. The car is in a very good condition but not show-room. It was used for its intended purpose. Because of a lack of space (the reason for sale) the Ford F1 is parked in storage since end January 2026.
