Triumph TR4 surrey top, overdrive, 1963 г.в.

Naar originele staat, volledig gerestaureerde, vroege Triumph TR4, met wit metalen dashboard, aangepast aan de kleur van de auto.Matching Numbers met BMHT certificaat, evenals originele aluminium Surrey hardtop en (mohair) soft top. Aparte opbergtas voor het superlichte aluminium middenstuk.Naast focus op originaliteit een aantal zinvolle upgrades zoals een aluminium benzinetank, - radiator en aluminium carterpan. Uitlaat in gepolijst RVS van Phoenix, in de Big Bore uitvoering, sportief met optrekken en decent bij rustig toeren.Originele volledig gesynchroniseerde versnellingsbak aangepast naar A-type overdrive.Zeer zeldzame American Racing Silverstone magnesium velgen met aangepaste wielmoeren van Revington TR, afgemaakt met verchroomde vleugelmoeren (a la Knock Off). Dit zijn identieke wielen zoals op de TR4 fabrieksracers gebruikt (4VC etc).Originele, vroege TR4 stoelen, nieuw bekleed met leer en witte bies. Surrey hardtop, panorama achterruit-frame en zonnekleppen in originele witte bekleding uitgevoerd (John Skinner).Momenteel met een Moto Lita leren stuurwiel in een kleinere diameter dan het (ook beschikbare maar erg grote) originele stuur. Eventueel ook met een Nardi stuurwiel.Alle chroomdelen perfect nieuw verchroomd, tot aan de aluminium header rail toe, op de bovenkant van het voorruit frame.Alle techniek gereviseerd of vernieuwd, waarbij gestreefd is om zoveel mogelijk het originele nog herbruikbare materiaal te gebruiken. Dit is dus een volledige nut & bolt restauratie, de auto is vanaf het chassis nieuw opgebouwd over meerdere jaren (2009 gestart) en sinds 2019 RDW gekeurd.Deze TR4 start, loopt en remt prima. Nothing beats an overdrive!Equipped with the very rare American Racing Silverstone magnesium alloy wheels with custom Revington TR stainless wheel nuts, finished with chromed eared spinners (a la Knock Off). These are the identical wheels as used on the TR4 factory racers (4VC etc).Original, early TR4 seats, newly upholstered in leather with white piping. Surrey hardtop and panorama rear window frame in original white upholstery (John Skinner).Currently fitted is a Moto Lita leather steering wheel in a slightly smaller diameter than the (also available) original steering wheel. If someone prefers a wood-rimmed steering wheel, I have a very nice original Nardi steering wheel.Of course all chrome parts newly chrome-plated, even the aluminum header rail, on the top of the windshield frame has been perfectly chromed.All mechanics have been revised or renewed, aiming to use the original and still reusable material as much as possible. New camshaft, water pump, timing chain and sprockets, crankshaft bearings, restored SU H6 carbs etc.So, this is really what they call a complete nut & bolt restoration, the car has been rebuilt from the chassis up over several years (started in 2009) and has been road licensed from 2019. It has been used but not a lot, due to having more TR’s in the garage.This TR4 starts, runs and brakes perfect.
