THE ULTIMATE GTOThis is quite possibly the most formidable D8 GTO we ever produced.With only 1,700 km on the clock, this Individual Series combines almost everything that could be specified on a GTO. The ABT power upgrade, Race ABS, power-assisted steering, carbon wheels and Carbon Upgrade Package 2 all found their way onto the same car. Add air conditioning, seat heating, a reversing camera and one of the most striking colour combinations we have produced, and you are looking at a very special GTO.The exterior is finished in Lamborghini Viola Mithras. In direct sunlight it turns into a vivid metallic purple, while in lower light much deeper violet and blue tones come through. The colour works especially well against the exposed carbon, and this car has plenty of it.Carbon Upgrade Package 2 brings the distinctive Hyper Fibre carbon weave to the car. Instead of the conventional diagonal carbon pattern, the weave has its characteristic square appearance, giving the exposed carbon parts an entirely different look. Together with the carbon wheels, it makes the exterior as technically interesting as it is visually striking.Performance is equally uncompromising. The ABT power upgrade takes the five-cylinder engine to another level, while Race ABS adds confidence when braking at the limit. Power-assisted steering makes the car considerably easier to use at lower speeds without losing the direct steering feel a GTO is known for.Interior:The Tailor Made interior was specified to complement the Viola Mithras exterior, continuing the same individual approach inside the cockpit.Despite the extreme performance specification, this is not a stripped-out track car. Air conditioning, seat heating, a reversing camera and power-assisted steering make it a GTO that can just as easily be enjoyed on a long road trip as on a demanding stretch of road.Technician's note:There are GTOs with a special colour, GTOs with an extreme performance specification and GTOs loaded with carbon. This car combines all three.What makes it particularly unusual is the amount of high-end GTO equipment fitted to one car. ABT power, Race ABS, power-assisted steering, carbon wheels and Carbon Upgrade Package 2 are all options we normally see individually or in different combinations. Here, they are all together.And the specification does not stop there.
