In addition to his taxi business, Bengt ran a gas station.The Lång Mercedes cost 129,000 kronor new and with a 1974 MercedesKompakt 240D Lang that had covered 33,000 km in trade-in, Bengt paid100,000 kronor in cash for the new car. Bengt had a cover made to protect theinterior and we can see the result now. The interior is the finest we haveseen on an unrenovated Mercedes Lang.Between the years 1998-2011 it has rolled 1,280 km and between 2011-2025 only 1,380 km.Technical condition:Engine type 617, 5-cylinder diesel with 88 horsepower and manual four-speed gearbox.Equipped with a towbar. The engine runs very well. The gearbox works fine, without any complaints.Inspected by the vehicle inspection (TUV) without any complaints 2025-06-13.Interior condition:Very nice interior, upholstery on chairs not far from new condition, has had cover upholstery since new.The headrests in the rear seat are retrofitted and have a different color than the rest of the upholstery.The middle seat is equipped with an unusual accessory, namely a set of seat belts developed and approved especially for the Swedish market so that both schoolchildren and adults sat safely buckled up.Extraordinarily good used condition:Partially repainted over the years, there are some small dents and minor rust.Good overall condition with extra good interior.
