Swedish-sold 1800S in a ready-to-drive and representative condition. Earlier renovation of the last year model with the characteristic bandy clubs, the chrome strip that curves upwards towards the side windows. The car was delivered to its first owner in December 1965, the history thereafter can be found in the archives, but in 1979 the car was sold by Bilkonsult in Stenstorp to a Karl Karlén in Skövde. Karlén eventually began a body renovation and also a mechanical overhaul. The current owner bought the car in 2016 and has enthusiastically driven it every season since then. In addition to frequent servicing, he has also gifted it with a new fuel tank and new rims/tyres. The latest and last mandatory inspection was done on 05/04/2017.Technical condition: Usual B18 feel and so also the gear feel in the box, familiar and well-functioning as is the overdrive.Condition interior: Unrenovated and nicely patinated interior with a nice leather feel and with the embossed Volvo brand in the back seat backrest which is intact. Original carpet that is complete, nicely bleached and moderately worn. Complete and clean headliner, a pristine instrument panel along with an original radio socket where a period radio would sit nicely.Exterior condition: The chrome is unrestored, neat and tidy with a dressy patina on the bumpers. No blisters or infestation. New 5.5-inch rims with fresh tires.Overall condition: Nice and presentable 1800S in a much sought after cherry red colour.
