It has an exceptionally low mileage of only 68,650 km, which is increasingly difficult to find on a Defender of this age, especially in this condition and specification.The car was factory delivered in Galway Green Metallic, paint code 821, a less common and very classic Defender colour.During our ownership, the Defender has been carefully maintained both in our own fully equipped workshop and by CAAR Bilservice, a workshop specialising in Land Rover vehicles. The car has recently been serviced, inspected and thoroughly checked before being offered for sale. The front wheel bearings have also recently been replaced.The Defender has seen very limited winter use during our six years of ownership and has spent much of its time stored indoors in our heated garage. The chassis and underside are consequently very well preserved. We have our own full-size workshop with a vehicle lift and serious buyers are welcome to inspect the complete underside of the vehicle during a viewing.The car has been tastefully equipped for touring and off-road use with a snorkel, load-bearing expedition roof rack, rear ladder, rock sliders, underbody protection, front skid plate, front and rear differential protection and a detachable tow bar.The lighting has also been upgraded with premium components. Four STEDI long-range driving lights are fitted at the front together with four STEDI work lights along the sides of the vehicle.
