BMW M235i F22 – Mineral White / Terra leatherThe car was bought in the US in 2023 for my own use and have driven over 20,000 km since then. It had minor front-end damage. The original auction photos are available online by VIN.The engine was rebuilt at 149,000 km. The work included:* Crankshaft measured and inspected* Kolbenschmidt main bearings and ACL Race rod bearings* Cylinder head rebuilt with new valve stem seals* New timing chain and oil pump drive* Cylinders honed and fitted with new piston rings, with increased ring gaps* Injectors tested* Geremi Turbo Performance hybrid turbo (with potential for around 500 HP)* VRSF Race 6” intercooler* Aluminium charge pipe* Catted downpipe* Spark plugs two heat ranges colder than stockThe engine was carefully run in. Ravenol VST 5W-40 oil was changed after 30 minutes, 500 km and 1,500 km. The oil filter was cut open and inspected after each change.The coolant temperature target was lowered from around 105°C to 90°C. The current setup is deliberately conservative, and the hybrid turbo has further power potential if wanted.
