Nous proposons à la vente cette très belle TRIUPH TR6 dans une configuration peu commune avec un gris métal pour un intérieur rouge ! Le mélange est très classe ! Le tout marié avec une très belle capote en tissu noir.Américaine d’origine, c’est une version injection qui a été modifiée en version carburateur avec 2 carbus SU , permettant de développer 125 CH.Cela se faisait couramment à l'époque et permettait de ne pas être confronté à des problèmes de fiabilité liés à l'injection.Nous disposons d’un historique depuis 1998 avec 4 propriétaires.La TRIUMPH dispose d’une carte grise normale et a son contrôle technique. MECANIQUE De nombreux travaux sont listés sur la voiture depuis 1998 avec factures à l’appui à savoir :- restauration du faisceau électrique- restauration des carburateurs- soufflet de cardan- changement e la pompe à essence- allumage- réfection des durites de chauffage- lames de ressort- amortisseurs….Le freinage a été contrôlé et est efficace. Le moteur tourne très bien et la voiture répond sans soucis à vos sollicitations. INTERIEUR L’intérieur est très propre, les sièges ne sont pas déchirés ni affaissés. Les panneaux de porte sont en bon état ainsi que les moquettes. Le tableau de bord est très propre, on notera quelques petites imperfections sur le vernis de ce dernier mais minime.La capote est en très bon état. Une restauration de cet intérieur avait été effectué en 2016. CARROSSERIE La voiture a un châssis extrêmement sain et a fait l’objet de retouches de peinture en 2014 à savoir la baie de pare-brise, les seuils de porte, le bloc arrière.La peinture est assez ancienne mais ne présente pas de corrosion ni de déformation majeure. Sur la route, la voiture est alerte et roule avec un son rageur. La boîte de vitesse est agréable, n’accroche pas, on prend du plaisir à la conduire. Toutes les jauges sont opérationnelles. la voiture ne dispose pas de l'Overdrive. Notre avis Une TR6 bien plaisante pour les beaux jours et qui a beaucoup de charme. Over 90% of the cars produced were exported over its 8-year run. This period coincided with the absolute height Of SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) Racing series and as such it was only a matter of time before someone decided to campaign Triumph’s newest. Ironically, the first TR6 to hit the racetrack in 1968 was not a TR6 at all, but a TR250 rebodied by the American Triumph wizard, Kas Kastner. Kastner’s reputation was legendary, producing Triumph cars and racing engines that no one else could touch, in the SCCA or abroad.
