This Mustang Bullitt, example number 2657, equipped from factory with MagneRide adaptive suspension and the B&O sound system, was first registered in Germany on July 21, 2020.It spent the first three years of its life in a private collection before being acquired by its second owner with just 2,500 km on the odometer.The idea behind the car was simple: to create an American V8-powered daily driver that retained everything that makes the Bullitt special — the character, sound and understated appearance — while improving the areas where the European-specification car left room for improvement.The goal was never to build a track car or radically modify the Bullitt. Instead, the aim was to make it handle better, feel more responsive and ultimately become a more complete driver’s car, without sacrificing the comfort and refinement that make it such a capable long-distance GT.To achieve this, the car was developed in cooperation with Steeda, one of the world’s leading Mustang performance specialists. Most of the work focused on the chassis and suspension, complemented by changes to the drivetrain.Unlike the North American Bullitt, European-specification cars were delivered with the standard Mustang GT differential and unusually long gearing, with both 5th and 6th effectively functioning as overdrive gears.This car was therefore upgraded with a Torsen limited-slip differential and a shorter final-drive ratio. Combined with an ECU calibration, power increased from the original 460 hp to approximately 490 hp. The changes made the car noticeably more responsive and engaging, allowing the naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 to be enjoyed much more of the time.The suspension and chassis received extensive Steeda upgrades with the same philosophy: improving precision, body control and feedback without turning the car into an uncomfortable track-focused build.Steeda subsequently featured the car in a dedicated article about the project:https://www.steeda.co.uk/blogs/feature-cars/florents-bullitt-mustangVisually, the car remains deliberately understated. The most distinctive addition is a set of 20-inch Mulholland wheels from McQueen Racing, designed by Steve McQueen’s son, Chad McQueen. Finished to complement the Bullitt’s iconic Dark Highland Green paintwork, they provide a subtle connection to the McQueen heritage behind the Bullitt name.The factory plastic side skirts and front splitter have also been refinished in satin black, giving the exterior a cleaner and more cohesive appearance. The most exposed areas of the bodywork are protected with PPF.Approximately €20,000 has been invested in upgrades and improvements. Importantly, the objective throughout the build has been to enhance the original Bullitt rather than change its character.The result is a rather unique example: a Bullitt that still looks and feels like a Bullitt, but with a sharper chassis, shorter gearing and a proper Torsen differential — while remaining comfortable, refined and completely usable for long-distance driving.TÜV / original partsIn its current configuration, the car cannot be TÜV-approved in Germany with the Steeda 20-inch Mulholland wheels and Steeda X-pipe fitted.The original parts are included with the sale, including the original Bullitt wheels and factory exhaust components.Please note: the advertised price is excluding VAT (Mehrwertsteuer).The car is located in Copenhagen, Denmark.
