I bought the car in Austria in the summer of 2024. It was purchased with a faulty engine. The issue originated from a blown head gasket, after which the previous owner—who had owned the car for over 10 years—parked it for an extended period due to illness. During this time, moisture caused damage to the cylinder wall.The engine has since undergone a complete professional rebuild in a machine shop. The cylinder heads were fully refurbished, and the crankshaft was ultrasonically tested for cracks. All parts were sourced from Z1 Motorsports, including a complete rebuild kit, timing kit, as well as new forged pistons and connecting rods.After removing the engine, the entire engine bay was repainted. The complete wiring harness was removed and refurbished. Many small components were powder coated, and the bolts were galvanized.A large number of photos and videos documenting the entire process are available.All modifications on the car are fully legal and officially approved. The vehicle currently does not have a valid technical inspection, as the work has only just been completed.
