It arrived new in Paris via the importer and remained with its first French owner until the mid-1980s.It then passed to a second owner in France. By 1996 at the latest, the car had been repainted grey and its original engine rebuilt (few kilometres were driven after this overhaul).In December 2005, the car was sold in Gstaad at a Bonhams auction. It then went to Switzerland to a new buyer.In 2009, it was acquired by Mr Richoz (Switzerland). Some minor interior work was carried out. The car remained in The Richoz Collection until 2020.In July 2020, it was sold at the RM Sotheby's – Open Roads auction (Montreux). The chassis and engine are matching.
