Under this label, NOVITEC, the world's leading refiner of sports cars from Maranello, is now presenting a spectacular wide version for the Ferrari 296 GTB. The racing car will be produced in a limited edition of just 15 vehicles. The NOVITEC body conversion, which was created by designer Vittorio Strosek and impresses with its exciting combination of exceptional design and aerodynamic efficiency, is made of lightweight but high-strength carbon. The aerodynamic kit made of high-strength carbon designed by Vittorio Strosek extends the body: +6 cm at the front, +12 cm at the rear, with tailor-made 21-/22-inch Vossen wheels. The highlights include a lowered chassis (-35 mm), a front lift system (+40 mm) and a power upgrade to 868 hp (638 kW) thanks to flow-optimized turbo inlets, high-performance exhaust and 100-cell catalytic converters. The new front apron with carbon lip improves stability, while side skirts and larger air openings ensure optimal air flow. The rear impresses with a carbon diffuser and a choice of rear wing, spoiler or standard cover. The exhaust systems tailored to the V6 Biturbo can be recognized at the rear by the two 102-millimeter NOVITEC tailpipes. They are integrated into the rear section with a special grille insert, which also helps to remove the heated air from the engine compartment more quickly. The exhaust pipes can be ordered in various versions, optionally with a carbon ring. The NOVITEC exhaust systems are made of stainless steel or the particularly light high-tech alloy INCONEL, which is also used in Formula 1. All of these sports exhaust systems fascinate with their exciting engine sound, which can be individually regulated from the cockpit in the version with exhaust flap control.
