HighlightsWell presented in classic Deep Bronze Green Extensively restored in 2024 with further brake work in 2025 Rare petrol version of the improved Series 3Useful recent voluntary MOT with no advisories Galvanised chassis and Fairey PTO winch (worth £1000s)The AppealAfter the major improvements of the Series IIA, the Series III Land Rover was all about refining the best 4x4 available. Better heating, stronger axles, improved switchgear and a fully synchromesh gearbox all make these later versions much easier to use. First registered in 1974 and with only seven keepers since, this 88" belies its 52 years. The Deep Bronze Green paintwork, lighter tan roof and black vinyl interior look barely used. That is, of course, thanks to a comprehensive restoration in 2024. A recent voluntary clean MOT pass in September 2024 confirms that it has barely been used since. Subsequent work has included attention to the brakes in 2025. Fitted with the rare petrol engine and in what appears to be factory standard trim, this is a fine collector-quality example of these very usable later Land Rovers. image.png 1.65 MBKey InformationMileage: 25,599 miles indicated Country of registration: United KingdomTechnical inspection status: MOT exemptTechnical specs: 2,286cc 4cyl petrol engine, 4spd synchromesh gearbox Paperwork: invoices, V5C as shown image.png 1.2 MBThe DetailRecent restoration in classic Deep Bronze Green which is in very good orderLighter green fabric roof also in good orderInvoices dated 2024 for extensive panelwork repairs including bulkhead Underside as shown with no structural advisories on last MOT Appears to be factory standard, including body colour painted steel wheels Black vinyl interior with well-kept Series III dials and switchgear Galvanised chassis and Fairey PTO winch (worth £1000s)Sliding window divider between cabin and load areasNo advisories on September 2025 voluntary MOT image.png 1.36 MBBEFORE YOU BUY This sale is subject to the Car & Classic Terms and Conditions.
