HighlightsVery rare and factory correct Tobacco Brown with matching hard top and tan MB TexOver £12,000 spent at SL Shop since arriving in UK Comprehensive brake overhaul completed in March 2026Recent repairs to hard top seals, fuel lines, wiring and seat rails Reported long-term Canadian ownership from at least 1976 until 2022Desirable 2.8L M130 160bhp car with 4spd auto box £5000 spent with Roger Edwards garageThe AppealJust 4% of all W113 Pagodas were finished in this car’s fetching combination of Tobacco Brown, a colour that suits the car’s understated lines. As such, here’s a chance to stand out from the usual silvers and whites with a car that also has an interesting back story. It was originally supplied to Canada in April 1968 and is said to have remained with a previous long-term keeper from the 1970s to the 2020s. It arrived in the UK in 2022 and has been with the current keeper ever since. We’re told that the car has received welding repairs and a repaint in the past and presents in good, usable order. The tan MB Tex interior is reported to be original and remains in good order. The soft top has been replaced and the hard top refurbished with new seals since arriving in the UK. There is scope to improve the exterior and interior, but if you want a W113 you can use and enjoy, it fits the bill. Since arriving in the UK, the car has received £12,000 of work by SL Shop. In 2026, the car received a brake overhaul with new callipers, discs and pads. Earlier work featured attention to the fuel system, wiring and seat rails. It is said to start easily and run well. The vendor says:"She is an excellent weekend driver in great driving condition - starts up first time every time, lots of power when needed, a joy to drive. Most of the work needed is the usual car of this age rust forming on the undercarriage."IMG_3703 Russ Cohn.jpeg 3.56 MBHistory and PaperworkDelivered new to the Canadian market on 2nd April 1968Left-hand-drive, US-specification exampleOwned in Canada from at least 1976 until 2022, we are told Imported to the UK circa 2022 by the current ownerSingle UK keeper since first registration in June 2022 Five-digit odometer is believed to have rolled overIndicated mileage of 53,135 miles is likely to be higher Approximately 5,000 miles added since arriving in the UKOver £12,000 spent on refurbishment at SL Shop since arriving in UKCopies of factory data card and service records availableMOT-exempt as a pre-1977 vehicleUK V5C presentIMG_1900 Russ Cohn.JPG 2.77 MBThe ConditionTobacco Brown (423) exterior repainted by a previous keeper Paintwork described as good but not show qualityBodywork in overall solid shape with evidence of past weldingVendor notes a rust hole on the firewall Passenger's side suspension mount previously replacedWeld repair aft of the crossmember behind the driver's seat will need attentionSome age to sills and underside noted by vendor requiring future attention Areas of corrosion noted in the engine bayColour-coordinated hardtop with original headlining intact showing some wearHardtop weather seals replaced by the SL Shop since 2022Replacement parchment mohair soft top reported as in good condition by the vendorH4 headlights retrofitted and car is fitted with fog lightsAerial antenna replacedParchment MB-Tex bucket seats reported as intact and originalOriginal wood dash trim present but perished at the endsInterior shows some age such as door cards and steering wheel Square-weave carpeting with some fraying and fitted with sisal matsBlaupunkt stereo with speakers mounted in the rear bulkheadDashboard illumination rewired by the sellerSeat rails repairedMichelin tyres on 14" wheels with body-colour-accented coversFor enthusiasts who value driving and enjoying their Pagoda, rather than secreting it away in a dehumidifier garage, this W113 is at the usable rather than show end of the condition scale. There are points to note in the description above and in the photos.
