This is not just any Lotus Elise Sport 135 – this is the car driven by former Formula 1 driver and Top Gear’s original Stig, Julian Bailey. Just like Ayrton Senna he also drove for the Formula 1 Team Lotus. The original Top Gear magazine featuring this car and the Stig's positive review is also included in the sale. A rare chance to own a truly collectible, well documented vintage sports car reflecting motoring history. For more details please see lotuselisesport.com.I am a collector of vintage sports cars. This is number 3 of only 50 hand-built Lotus Elise Sport 135. It is the first with the very rare factory fitted hardtop in original Quicksilver. It has been driven and very positively reviewed by no less than former Formula 1 Team Lotus driver and Top Gear’s original Stig, Julian Bailey. On top of that this classic car is also covered in a uniquely featured road test published in Top Gear Magazine. I have made a website with all the details and history of this special car. It has always stayed in my garage and has been very well maintained. I kept all receipts just like all previous owners, including full documentation and stamped maintenance book. The car is completely original and accident free. Just had the car serviced and renewed the 'distributieriem'. Next to the original hard top it also includes the original soft top and a handy raincover.
