Like the 6.3, the Vantage used record-sized 362 mm brake discs and 18 inch wheels.Upgrading this particular Vantage was professionally carried out in 2002 for the price of £46,334 by Aston Martin Works Service. Numerous performance enhancements were made, including modification to the two superchargers, upgraded exhaust system and more powerful brakes.The Marek Reichman-Designed Vantage body was also fettled somewhat with a new grille and badges. All of these tweaks pushed the Vantage V600 into proper supercar territory, making it an impressive addition to the 200mph club. Er staat nog geen 20.000 mijl (32000km) op de teller. Deze Vanquish is in 2002 in de USA geleverd op 3 februari 2002 in de kleur Skye Silver. Met slechts 11.000 mijl op de teller werd de auto in 2017 in Nederland geïmporteerd en onderhouden door Aston Martin Hilversum en Cito Motors. De V12 motoren zijn robuust, maar de bekende achilleshiel van de Vanquish is toch de versnellingsbak. Daarom is deze eind 2023 bij de specialisten van Bamford Rose en AutoTech in de UK geweest. Ze hebben de versnellingsbak compleet gereviseerd en opnieuw gekalibreerd, voorzien van een E-Gear Selespeed hydraulic pomp motor, waarmee de transmissie een totale upgrade heeft ondergaan en niet te vergelijken is met het overige aanbod . Totale reparatiekosten waren maar liefst 15.000 pond. Deze reparaties zijn vorig jaar niet alleen uitgevoerd om de gebreken op dat moment te verhelpen, maar voornamelijk om de levensduur van alle draaiende delen te waarborgen en te verlengen. Hierdoor heeft de volgende eigenaar een auto die technisch helemaal up- to-date is.
