Hi,I have a 1970 Ford F350 Sport Custom for sale in a very rare and unique Super Camper Truck version, modified by Fairway Ford before Ford officially began production of the Super Camper Special (1973–1979). According to information available online, only 200 such vehicles were ever produced. (I’m including photos of newspaper clippings describing this model)The pickup went through a complete restoration in 2022. All panels and body components were stripped down to turn the car into a “show car.” The originality of the stock parts is at a very high level. Moving on to the drive system:-Engine: 390FE fully rebuilt – matches the vehicle’s VIN. Replaced camshaft with a milder one, new exhaust manifolds additionally protected with heat wrap, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, and a 4-barrel Edelbrock carburetor. All components such as the water pump, starter motor, and hoses have been replaced, except for the radiator, which was only available for Camper Special models and is no longer available in that size on the market. The factory engine from that era produced around 300 horsepower; with this setup, you can expect a few more horsepower -Fully rebuilt C6 automatic transmission-Dana 70 rear axle matching the VIN, reinforced front and rear axles-Custom exhaust system made to order.The original reinforced suspension has been retained; only most of the wear parts have been replaced.The front still features the original Daytona dual-piston calipers.The Ford has four separate fuel tanks with a combined capacity of nearly 400 liters.The pickup still has its original 16.5-inch wheels. All tires were replaced last year, and a spare was purchased due to the lack of availability of tires in this size. The original hubcaps, which have been on the car since new, are of immense collector’s value in this condition.The interior is modest and original, except for the headliner. Everything is just as it came from the factory. The only addition is an FM radio that matches the era’s aesthetic.All door and window seals have been replaced.I’m sure I’ve forgotten many details, but I’m open to questions.The car has covered about 3,000–4,000 miles since the restoration. I purchased it personally in Los Angeles. It has been registered in Poland as a Category B classic car.This isn’t a classic that just sits in a lot and gathers dust You can easily drive this pickup at 140 km/h on the highway, with no play in the suspension and no issues whatsoever.Due to its use, the car naturally has a few areas that need fixing or require attention if someone plans to keep it as a show car.
