The Toyota Celiga GT-Four 'Carlos Sainz' is a limited edition, numbered at 5,000 units, a model born from the FIA's demands and regulations at the time, which required the production of a certain number of road-going models to allow the same model to be used in the World Rally Championship. This is a true Homologation Special, from the same year the Japanese brand won the World Rally Championship with 'El Matador'.The exterior is more aggressive and visually different from the standard ST185. The hood has an air vent (to expel hot air from the turbo) and a small air intake to supply air to the engine bay. The bumper also has larger openings and is mounted on a lightweight aluminum bar. Despite its racing nature, comfort is assured – onboard, we have leather seats, an electric sunroof, and air conditioning!This car was purchased new in Palermo, Sicily, from Autocom Srl – an official Toyota dealership – in 1992. The service and warranty booklet includes all maintenance records. The last service was performed in Turbigo, Milan, in August 2020. The engine was completely overhauled, including replacing the timing belt.The car was exported to Lisbon, Portugal, in 2021 and remains impeccable and 100% original, including the original 16-inch wheels. Included in the sale are the original Toyota cassette stereo and the original garage door with the car's serial number stitched on. The owner's manuals and the certificate of authenticity, number 3751 of 5000, are also included.It is also equipped with four new tires – Hankook Ventus Prime 3.
