Naturally, there is no shortage of walnut veneer, adding warmth and character throughout the cabin.Time, however, is rarely kind to headlinings. Regardless of mileage or usage, the adhesive and foam layer will eventually give way. With that in mind, the headlining was replaced in the past with a high-quality fabric in the correct colour — a sensible and well-executed solution.Power comes from the dependable 3.5 V8, an engine known for covering serious mileage without complaint. This version of the Jaguar AJV8 is equipped from the factory with the updated timing chain tensioners and guides, requiring no further modification.The automatic gearbox shifts smoothly, the suspension feels tight and assured, and thanks to the standard air suspension, the XJ remains stable yet supremely comfortable — exactly as a Jaguar should be.The front seats are electrically adjustable, with the driver’s seat featuring a memory function. Even the steering wheel is electrically operated — a detail that still feels delightfully indulgent. The beautifully soft Cream leather ties the interior together perfectly, giving the cabin a light, elegant atmosphere.The X350 is a particularly interesting chapter in the XJ story. Its aluminium monocoque body keeps weight remarkably low — even lower than its predecessor — while the modern engineering beneath makes it an excellent long-distance companion. The engine is a further developed version of the already proven AJV8, combining refinement with durability. Added to that, the X350 is generally very appealing from a business perspective: under the Dutch Youngtimer scheme it offers favourable tax treatment, something that will immediately resonate with the entrepreneur.This XJ8 will be delivered with a fresh APK inspection. Naturally, the service book is present, and the key set consists of one original folding key, accompanied by the green valet key.Surely there must be something to complain about, you might think? Indeed — but for an X350 in this price range, the list is refreshingly short. There are several cosmetic imperfections around the car, despite how well it presents in photographs. The right front wing is damaged and would ideally be replaced, and the right rear window does not open. Nothing dramatic, but worth mentioning in the interest of transparency.This is an appealing XJ that we would very much like to see end up with an enthusiast. The pricing makes it particularly attractive. It is an excellent Jaguar to run as a business car while gradually improving it to your own taste, with potential costs directly deductible. Thanks to its relatively low weight and correspondingly modest road tax, it also makes a fine entry into Jaguar ownership — whether privately or professionally.There is, of course, much more to say about this X350, but a proper impression can only be gained by seeing and driving the car.
