Toyota Celica Convertible by Schwan – 1986Original Carminari Body Kit | Voll Coachbuilder Plate | 3S-GEA truly rare collector’s example of the Toyota Celica: professionally converted to cabriolet by Schwan Karosseriebau (Germany) in the 1986s. The conversion is officially recorded in the German registration documents, copies of which are included with the car.Adding to its historical value, the vehicle carries an original Karosseriefabrik Voll K.G. (Würzburg) body plate (Aufbau Nr. 16400). Voll was one of Germany’s most respected coachbuilders, active since the 1920s and known for high-quality special-body conversions. This detail firmly places the car in the golden era of German coachbuilding.The car retains its original Carminari body kit, with Schwan identification plates on each element – an extremely rare and collectible feature today. The wheels fitted to the car were also installed as part of the Schwan conversion.It is estimated that only around 300 Schwan Celica Cabriolets were built, with very few survivors worldwide.
