I am selling my early-series VW Golf MK1 (small taillight model). Originally 1.0L (50 hp) Croatian delivery with only 88,000 km, the car remained with its original owner for decades before being passed to his grandson in Germany. After driving it in its original state for 2,000 km, the car underwent a professional performance conversion using a Golf MK2 GTI 16V and a VW Type 2Y 5-speed transmission. The conversion was professionally executed and fully certified by TÜV Süd in Starnberg. Everything is road-legal and documented in the vehicle papers.Technical Specifications & Upgrades as; Engine: 1.8L 16V from Golf MK2 GTI, New fuel tank/system, engine is fully rebuilt and has 7000km since assembly. Braking System: Full Golf II GTI 16V setup (Master cylinder, calipers, and discs), Exhaust: Modified performance system with catalytic converter, Suspension: KW coilover kit with H&R front/rear stabilizers and Wiechers strut braces (top and bottom), Wheels: Authentic BBS RS wheels with 195/40-16 tires (not included in the first price).Interior & Exterior Details are; Original VW Golf GTI sport seats, GTI door panels, and the iconic "Golf Ball" gear knob, Rare Series 1 "Tittentacho" GTI speedometer (220 km/h) and original GTI sport steering wheel, original black aluminum trim, matte black bumper decals, and original VW "small" taillights, New door seals (left/right) and GTI red-stripe grille.The Golf doesn't have a radio (a pure 16V sound is good enough). Last inspection report dated October 22nd, 2025. The Golf has far more horsepower than the specified one, which was clear to the TÜV inspector, but it has to adopt the original GTI 16V horsepower.I am interested in a cash-only sale.
